Missing stuff again
Sakuracon kicks off today (9am), and sadly I couldn't make it this year. Things lately haven't been working out for me (gave my jobhunt a break). Plus feeling under the weather, my allergies went into overdrive; and some sleepless nights.
It still bugs me, I haven't went to this local anime con in several years. Plus the costs went up, so its $50 @ the door (if you haven't prepaid). Its a bit tough, even though its local. Costs are just getting more insane. Sometimes I wonder if it might even go up soon.
I miss getting to hangout with some of my old friends (I've been a part of the events forums for years now). Wish I had a chance to join as a volunteer sooner. But things changed, so I couldn't make it.
So I'm here @ home, during the weekend. *sadly the weather reports are rolling in about possible snowfall mixed with rain. I hope it turns out nice, until everyone gets home after this fun event.
