LOL my LJ gonna be an archive for my memories with the Japanese each time ne XD
First, bg info:
- 2011.03.09 Wed~ Zayed University/ Dubai
- there was a Mini-conference, Japanese Students from different universities in Japan came + Producer of an anime came + Sheikh Abdulaziz came (09:00-12:00) <<< the suppossed time but changed XD
- On Wednesdays, my classes are 12:30-01:50 // 02:00-03:30
- I'm such a nerd who doesn't want to skip classes (not bcz I love classes or anything though/ my mind says that I'll fail the course if I skipped) (WHATEVER.. let's seee what happened)
- Note: An rabic news TV channel was in the uni // & whenever they came last semester, something bad happens to me XDD (let's see how is this related to the event this time)
They were too many people that I couldn't talk with all of them
Let me say something from Me to Me
Kadori, you used long Japanese sentences while talking today, you're improving, I'm proud of you.
Kadori, you repeated many japanese words, I bet you sounded funny, try to improve it.
Kadori, they praised you a lot, don't get full of yourself, your Japanese is just conversational, nothing more than that.
Kadori, you are the LUCKIEST nerd ever.
Let's START?
We greeted the Sheikh who came early.. but the Japanese were late bcz they had some traffic problems. (we started at almost 10:00)
First step, say "Ohayou" to the Japanese! but ah I didn't say "Ohayou Gozaimasu" I always forget the to be formal XD
We started by Kawaguchi Noritaka showing us 5 Centimeters Per Second & Grrl Power
The first one was touching, I liked it.. it's totally my type.. especially the drawings!! the second one would have been better if it wasn't DUBBED! but LOL it's way too funny!
Wait.. in that 5cm thingie.. they mentioned "Ohmiya" (the place) & I was like "Kyaaaaa OHMIYAAA" /gets bricked
Then he showed us a short vid of how they make anime.. so cool =D
OH! DAMN I DIDN'T TAKE HIS AUTOGRAPH >.<
After that, the great supporter Sheikh Abdulaziz made a wonderful short presentation about connection between UAE & Japan! It.Was.Wonderful!!! Shows how we are connected by many things & how we have many similarities with the Japanese Culture!
Then Minako-san, a university student.. made a very nice presentation about how is it useful to be connceted with many countries to solve different problems by showing it in Japanese Pop Culture! like anime & Manga.. they had a nice project called "Crosspy" which means "Cross x Peace"

They canceled some things bcz of the time.. & now it's almost 11:15 AM <<< I'm so particular about time, will mention it A LOT!

First one to talk to.. Talked with Mariko-san, by saying "Ohayou" and ah.. I forgot.. I only remember her cute surprised face when she saw that I speak some Japanese XD (I bet I went all blushing at that time.. I won't blame myself for forgetting then)
ah yeah yeah, she asked me about my nickname "Kadori" how I made it & stuff like that.. wooh.. she exactly got the right words for it.. I'll use what she said from now on, instead of taking too much time explaining.. Well.. it's just that it doesn't have a meaning in Japanese but I just made it up bcz I like how "it sounds"~ yeah Great Mariko-san, thanks for this word! XD
Sent off the Sheikh, & now the producer is showing some of the girls who are interested in anime, more about how to make it & draw it & stuff.. while the others are eating (before we all go in a tour around the campus)
Weee "go talk to them kadori go talk!!" "What topic should I open with them? ahh dunnoooo"
Then was like "Sumimasen~ All of you are from Waseda University?" (in japanese, I think?) and then kuuuuu I was surrounded by like about 6 of them to answer my question (LOL darling, what's with the SO RANDOM QUESTION? but whatever, now I'm talking with them ohohohoo)
Each of them told me from which University they came & what's their major! <<< I seriously can't remember everything exactly.. but yeei for their FB page, it has it all XD
LOL they got surprised that I know that "Tokyo University" is "Toudai" hahahaha those people are so cute! REALLY!!
They asked me "since when I studied Japanese" gaah I really dunno how to answer this.. I mean, I didn't study it officially.. I have many easy words that I still don't know!
anywaaaays.. told them from anime & stuff I got most of the words I'm using now! & they were like "ooooh" <<< & this kadori blushed (STOP BLUSHING!!)
LOL they asked about the age.. "Juuhassai/18" kuuu loving my age.. don't grow up Kadori *bricked* (Gosh, SO RANDOM)
They asked me what kind of anime I like, and since I'm not that updated with anime, I told them the ones I really like.. Clannad, Lovely Complex, Kanon 2006
& Kazuya-san, a person from Toudai, was so surprised saying that "it's rare that people actually know Clannad" <<< but hmmm.. they should have talked with real anime-watchers here.. they know MORE! XD
Then started talking with Minako-san, the one who made the presentation.. gosh she looked sooo familier.. REALLY!! but she says it's her first time coming here.. OMG WHERE DID I SEE HER? She looks like someone.. WHO??
anyways.. talked with her in japanese too, about our majors and stuff.. and she's soo kind, the first one to give me her business card (or whatever they call it) and she wanted to take pictures with me! HOW CUTE! it's always me who keeps asking people, but she asked first =D
and oh.. when we were talking, Kazuya-san came.. and was saying to Minako-san "it's the only one left.. I thought I had much to give them all, but it's the only one" *points the Toudai-pencil at me* "dozo"
Eeeeh? wait, am i supposed to take the penil for me? or just look at it? (yeah, I'm so clueless in these stuff)
wait.. let me flail here.. SOOOO CUTE!!! I got a a Toudai-pencil 8DDDDDD it's the only one & he decided to give it to me! dhjfhjsdkghjdsskjsg <<< never thought I'll ever smash the keyboard for something not Arashi-related
Then they surrounded me again.. and saw Matsujun strap =D LOL I couldn't explain that I love nino but I love them all but I wanted Nino but getting Matsujun strap is more than a dream comes true (did you understand a thing?) but I think they did! so anyways XDD
Now, the tour around campus.. go talk & talk Kadori.. I don't remember what was I talking about! something with Eri-san.. then with Azusa-san.. then with some of the people that came with the anime producer.. I KNOW!! too many people!! couldn't catch up with all of them XDDD
There is that man who knows arabic.. weee sugeee!!
Now it's cafeteria time.. it's 12:30!! peeep peeep it's my class time!! "kadori, what should you do now? OMG OMG Should I skip? but.. ahh noo ahh doushiyoooou?"
I SKIPPED!! Can you believe it? no way!
& read this.. remember the TV channel I wrote about up there? They wanted ppl to attend their program shooting.. MY CLASS! YEAH.. THE CLASS WAS CANCELED!!! ohohohohohohoho Me is a LUCKY NERD! I decided to skip to know that I didn't miss anything in the class.. because there was no class (LOL, who wants to read this anyways??? geeky-kadori)
so yeeei I have time till 02:00 now! Eat peacefully darling.. WAIT.. before that.. The dear Producer wanted to wash his hands.. asked for the washroom.. people kept telling him the directions but then I was like "annaishimasu/I'll show you the way" and AH HE FINALLY TALKED IN JAPANESE! I mean, english doesn't suit him *bricked* he said "ah Arigatou gozaimasuu" gosh I felt like I'm in a Drama or something.. so REAL! 8D (wake up already.. it IS REAL)
Yeah, from just one word I said.. he was like "Nihongo Perapera janai desu ka / You're so fluente in Japanese" fukdjeuliriekhejkfhe Quote No.1 GETTO!!! 8DDDD
& let's see.. I only said that word.. & I said it WRONGLY! instead of saying"Annaishimasu" I actually said "Onraishimasu" SO DIFFERENT.. but maybe because I said it quickly with a low voice he didn't notice?
I mean, I don't know that word.. I just hear ppl say it in Dramas! never though of spelling it.. it just popped on my mind at that time~! LOL I said it wrongly & he's became so happy saying that I'm fluente! Someone kill me.. that makes me HAPPY!! 8D
Then of coursem the same routine goes on: "I watch many animes & dramas & shows, that's why i can talk in Japanese" then he said something that i can't remember.. or maybe he said I word that I didn't undertsand? yeah I BET!

The table was so big, and we were far from each other..
weee while eating.. Eri-san was next to me.. and Ayako-san was in front on me.. talked with them a LOT! (and the others are way too far to talk with)
Eri-san asked me if I like Japanese music & I was like "That's almost the only music I like" XDDD then "Arashi.. and?.. what about SMAP" I was like "yeeeah" then.. "Who do you like in SMAP" she asked.. I said "Nakai-kun" & she was like "Me too, he's so funny ne?" & me "yeeah"

I've always wanted to talk normally with Japanese people, about normal things, and yeah, when I do.. I imagine that i'm normally talking with them and go fangirl in my own world! but now SHE SAID IT! Go kill me I'm way too happy to believe it!!!
How am I supposed to react when she says "jouzu.. nihonjin mitai" *DIES*
We talked more about how languages are hard to study and and and.. some other topics
YEAH.. go kadori.. you FAIL.. your Japanese is a TOTAL FAIL!! I keep pausing wasting time XD and if I didn't PAUSE I'll keep repeating the words XDDD some weird words! it's like I know nothing but "Demoooo~ eeetoooo~ eeeeh? dakaraaa~!" I bet if I heard a recording of that I'd want to shut myself up XD
After Lunch.. we went to the small bookshop we have at uni.. the bought some souvenirs~ & I took the chance to take pictures with the others too
& kept talking and exchanging emails & then it's time for them to leave.. we said goodbye.. took more pictures.. waved so hard to the bus until it disappeared (kuuu it's a DRAMA XD)
Look at the time Kadori.. it's 02:00 EXACTLY!! OMG WHAT? I'm way so lucky!! Now I can go to class without worrying.. because they left already~
OMG Can such thing HAPPEN?? a canceled class, then they leave exactly at the time of my other class! and wooh I kept running to class in order not to be late! and LOL!! This time the proffessor was late! OH MY GOD I AM A LUCKY NERD!! Today is totally for me *bricked*
