I realize that there are a wide spectrum of opinions about the utility and relevance of unionized workers in these modern times. Just because you're on one end of the spectrum of those opinions and I'm on the other doesn't give you the right to characterize unionized workers as lazy, good-for-nothing, unmotivated, overpaid useless slobs. You should feel free to decry unions as unnecessary relics, just as I feel free to argue for their modern relevance. But when you harp on the personal hygeine and questionable parentage of union workers in the middle of a otherwise fairly animated discussion, don't be surprised when I take personal insult and leave the conversation immediately. Particularly when that's my father you're talking about. Plumber butt-crack jokes stopped being funny about twenty years ago, buddy.
