Wow,
I can´t believe how fast spring approaches in Madrid. In the past week and a half the temperatures have been above 70, sunny, and perfect. I went to the park alone yesterday and walked around, found myself a couple of trees and planted myself underneath them. I read a magazinge dedicated to Spanish foods and wines and promptly got the urge to buy some olives and a nice red. But I didn´t.
The high today is 78 and sunny, and I am wearing buisness attire for my presentation in grammar class. Good thing I´m one of those people that wears deodorant in Spain.
As I said before, I have a presentation to prepare, and 4 papers to write. Kimmy comes on Saturday morning and I will meet her at the airport, and the scissor sisters are coming to Madrid and I plan on seeing them. I´m starting to pack my things and put them away, and organize what I want to take home and what I should just give away. I also need to buy another suitcase, because one won´t be enough.
And my computer crashed. This will give me more time to actually do work and read. However, not having a computer kind of hinders my abilities to type up papers.
I am ready to come home. It´s been a fun run and I had a great time, but I´m ready to get on with my life. I´m ready to get out of Helena´s house and leave her be. I know I´ll miss her but no too much. She said she´ll take my digits and have her daughter call me.
So now I must prepare my presentation. Stay dry and healthy and don´t let global warming get you down. According to my research we still have at least another 20 to 30 years before we Really start feeling the affects and another 70 years until all hell breaks loose. So keep on smiling.
