yesterday:
jaxontarl arrived. Yay for old friends who still love you anyway, after more than a decade of changes on both sides - when you haven't seen someone in a long time, but seeing them again is just like they never left, that's when you know you've got something special.- presents from old friends who know you well enough to know exactly what you wanted, even when you didn't know it yourself.
- a deck with nearly complete handrails.
today:
- coming home to a house much cleaner than I left it. again, yay for old friends who take care of me.
- getting my daily writing written, and more work on an article I'm working on, because this morning's mandatory training was completely worthless.
- having a tiny laptop with which to type said writing stashed in my backpack.
