One of our customers was turned over to collections a while back - she owed over $1000 on an invoice.
Yesterday I got a notice that she'd filed for bankruptcy.
So, it looks like I won't get much back, and that I don't have to go to the meeting to get money; I just have to file a form.
But it's still a pain, and it's the reason I've virtually eliminated all payment terms that don't involve us getting paid when we ship.
