http://www.clickondetroit.com/education/10115212/detail.html MINCO, Okla. -- One of Oklahoma's nominees for state superintendent of education has proposed a unique idea for protecting students from outbreaks of violence.
Bill Crozier, a Union City Republican going against incumbent Democrat Sandy Garrett, said he believes old textbooks could be used to stop bullets shot from weapons wielded by school intruders.
Now, having spent a while living on the border of Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma....and having spent most of my life in Missouri....and knowing that Oklahoma was one of the first places to open up their concealed carry laws to the public, this doesn't surprise me at all.
However, I think that this might make for an interesting mythbusters episode :-)
