Okay, So I have returned from the uber uber long trip. It was pretty fun...but seriously tiresome. I got the sucky stuff over with early on so need to mention them.
So After heading out with Jay (my buddy) to Pigeon Forge we hung out at his house and Xboxed the night away. Then I drove for about 4 hours to memphis. and hung out there with My sister and brother in law. They are pretty cool and we spent a lot of time playing videogames and board games and ...well games. They are gamers! hah We even went all the way to Chatanooga (which by the way i totally passed back when i was hanging with jay) for some gaming convention there. It was this Hackmaster thing. Which is basically D&D reincarnated. So i ended up in some tournament with them. I've never played so I was the dumbass in the group going..."okay...so uhh.. what dice do i roll again." Funny thing is...we won. (won what exactly...i dunno..but we won... and that made my sister and bro in law very happy...so more power to them). After the 5 hour drive back from chatanooga to Memphis... I was put up for chores to earn my keep. I mowed the lawn, washed dishes, took out trash, that kinda junk and then the fun stuff. I got to go to the landfill and dump out a great mess of dirty old shingles from the roof they replaced 3 years ago and ripped out carpet and wall sidings and fun stuff like that. It was okay until it rained and the landfill was soaked. It was this soggy mountain of filth and excrement that we waded through. My shoes were icky...luckily they were actually Matthew's (bro-in-law) old shoes...so I don't care. Then i helped move all the kitchen stuff out of the kitchen so they can renovate it. I've never thought of moving a fridge into the dining room.. i always visually see it in a kitchen..it was different...but cool. After that fun stuff i had to come back home. Sis gave me a check for a clean 100 bucks for helping out and I hit the road again...for 6 hours from Memphis to Louisville.
Got home around 10 or 11 and talked to teh Jeremiah. I told him bout all this and then got ready for the next day. We headed out at around 7:30 for the Van's Warped Tour! WOOHOO! Gabe, Jeremiah, and I drove the 1 and half hour drive up to Cincinsally!!! Cincinrally!!! CINCINATTI!!! (Tyson Ritter, AAR) shortest drive yet. We went immediately to the concert and it was awesome! Scorching hot...but worth it. I saw teh My Chemical Romance, All-American Rejects, and heard Offspring while laying around in the shade. I saw a bunch of other bands..but really didn't know them. Basically for Jeremiah and Gabe. The most amazing thing is I saw teh NIKKI!!!(made my day teh specialist!!! Love ya!!) I love her response. "What are you doing here??" ...Umm don't really know how to answer the obviousness! :P Saw teh brandon too! He seemed nice..tired. Both of you were. hehe Gave him a hug goodbye and followed the breadcrumbs back to Gabe and Jeremiah. ...they were fighting...Idiots. OHH but the coolest/saddest thing I saw there was a hardcore biker/punk 5 year old chillin with his hardcore biker/punk parents. he was decked out in leather wristbands and black clothes and i think shades...complete with an awe-inspiring pink mohawk. he was rawkin it. He might have had a tattoo too. If so..i bet it woulda been the real deal...no fuckin' wash-offs for him.
After the concert we headed to a hotel to spend the night.. (which i think was a waste since its less that a 2 hour drive and it was 9 when we headed out...but i dunno.) I'm sure there were reasons...unbeknownst to me....whatever. Maybe Jeremy just didn't feel like driving till 11...thats plausible. I think i'll stick with that...ANYWAY we woke up had teh continental breakfast...played rummy (I kicked ass) and drove home. I got to sleep!!! Sahweet! Came home today...first official day basically and now I'm...dunno. I got some stuff to do but it's gonna have to wait till monday so i can go to the DMV and get my license. I'm pretty sure i can't get my bank card without proof i'm me. so yeah. till then...just kinda stuck at teh home. DONE!
