burgundy =/= black

ookay. so i dyed my hair again. burgundy this time....but it looks black! and reddish when the light hits. i know i'd hankered for red before but this is supposed to be purple. ):

guess i'll have to wait for the pigments to fade a little.. in the meantime i need a cure for my splitting headache. gah.
