BESTEST EVENT EVER!!!... w00t
I am taking a moment aside to sound a call to all otaku, to all anime fans, to any casual peruser of video games or other japanese ware....
FANIME APPROACHES.
With just 4 months until Fanime Con 2005, prices are getting kinda high, and now is the best time to start planning if you haven't done so already! And I'm totally talking like an infomercial advertising guy!
Lol so I'm really exited about Fanime coming up. I hope that all of you out there find someway to go, especially if you live within 2 hours of it, which would really deprive you of any good excuse not to go. San Jose Convention Center, May 27-30, Memorial Day Weekend Friday thru Monday, four days of brilliance and fun.... can't wait. AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU! *does the uncle-sam pointing finger thing*
Yeah so my friends and I from school have gotten together and registered as an 11-person group for Fanime, and we're still slowly recruiting even more attendees. Me and my friend thaddeus have been working over the past couple weeks to get at least TEN people together in time for the price jump deadline, which was yesterday. I am very elated that not only did we get that, we even got one more. I am Happy. We got the group discount of 10% off, and we made it before the prices went up, so we all paid only 40 bucks per ticket, yay! And what will be cool is the meshing of old and new generations of fandom from our school; half the people going to Fanime haven't attended my high school in at least a year, since most of that half graduated last year. The other half is the "new" generation, some of whom have never considered an anime convention, who will get to see for the first time the wonders which it holds. yay.
FANIME IS WIN~!
Who our there is already going to Fanime? Anyone thinking about it but not sure? I definitely suggest that everyone go if they can, its just that great. And if you've gone before, you already know that, and you should know better than to pass on it, lol.
Ummm i think i ran outta things to say. POST AND STUFF! or not. but one inevitable fact remains...... it cometh.
