What a weekend

May 21, 2006 21:45

Well, I don't often like to mention my personal life on this contraption...actually, come to think of, I don't think I've ever talked about my personal life on this thing.  Well tonight will be an exception, because I have pictures to show you!! (all three of you that still read my journal that is).  This weekend I had the honor of attending the MonsterMania convention in Cherry Hill NJ, and man the people I got to meet!  Now pay no attention to my fat head in these pics...these pictures were a serious wake up call to the fact that I need to lose weight PRONTO.  I have to give my tapeworm a call to get him back in service.  Anywho, for anyone that may care, here are some pics!

Picture #1 - Karl with Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Land of the Dead, Creepshow, Monkey Shines, Martin (the vampire movie, not the terrible tv show) creator George Romero

Picture #2 - Karl with the star of the Re-Animator films, as well as The Frighteners, Jeffrey Combs!

Picture #3 - Karl with Pinhead himself, Doug Bradley!

Picture #4 - Karl with the star of Alien, Aliens, Pumpkinhead, Millennium, and a shit ton of straight to video movies, Lance Henrickson!

Picture #5 - Karl with the star of House of 1000 Corpses and the Devil's Rejects, Sid Haig!

Picture #6 - Karl with another star from House of 1000 Corpses and the Devil's Rejects, as well as Chop Top from Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, Bill Moseley!

Picture #7 - Karl with the Candyman himself, Tony Todd!

Picture #8 - Karl with one of the cool things he bought at the convention (truth be told, I got a lot of cool things at the convention, and to take photos of all of it and post it on here would take more time than I care to waste), the puzzlebox from Hellraiser!

No, it doesn't work. And even if it did, would you really want me to use it?  Do you think that little of me that you would want me suffering in hell.  Shame on you!

So in case you didn't notice, I am a HUUUGE horror fan.  So this weekend was pretty much one of the coolest things I have ever been to in my entire life. Definitely plan on making this an annual trip.  SO MUCH FUN!!!  OK, enough personal business.  See ya!
