so this is goodbye
My mom brought home a kitty!! I wish I had a pic of him, but my camera died on me as I was trying to take a picture D: Anyway, he's a Maine Coon so he looks just like Lucky (even shares the same traits) only he's darker, and he has half a tail because apparently when he was a kitten, he got it caught in a door @__@ HIS NAME IS POUNCER AND HOLY SHIT HE IS THE FRIENDLIEST FUCKING CAT EVER. When my mom and I went into my brother's room to see him, he came RUNNING over to us and started winding around our legs. At first I wasn't sure what the hell was wrong with him, until mom mentioned that he was just REALLY friendly.
God. SO FUCKING CUTE. Mom got him from a guy she works with. I guess his girlfriend is allergic to him (and yet I hear she's bringing a kitten in?? WTF), so he had to give Pouncer away and my mom said she would take him. He must really love Pouncer though, because mom said that he looked like he was about to cry when he was giving the cat to her. Poor guy! D: Pouncer will have a good home here, though :D Hopefully Lucky will like his new buddy XD
And then my brother wants to get rid of the two cats my mom brought him like two months ago. There is one that looks like Lucky, only apparently 'cuter' (WHAT! NO CAT IS CUTER THAN LUCKY!!) and the other looks like Timmy, 'my' cat who recently died. So I'm taking the Timmy-clone with me when Kevin and I move, and we still have to find a home for the fluffy one. ANYONE I KNOW IRL INTERESTED IN A CAT? I hear he's reallllly cute!! ;D ;D ;D I asked a woman I work with because her sister was interested in the cat a while ago, but I haven't heard back from her, and he needs a home soon!
Anyway.
So this weekend I went to Burlington, helped Kevin pack all his shit into my car because his had broken down and had been towed back home, and then went to see our apartment and sign the lease and pay the deposit.
It's a pretty nice apartment, kind of looks like Audra's place, maybe a little bit smaller. When you walk in, you're in the living room. The living room and kitchen are combined, but separated by the stair case. Upstairs are the bedrooms and the bathroom. Everything except the bathroom and kitchen is carpeted :D It felt nice under my feet XD The landlords (well, I only met the guy, haven't met the girl yet) are really nice people, and they live right next door to us.
My last day of work is June 1st (a Friday), and we'll probably move on Wednesday of the next week (which I think is the 6th).
I JUST HOPE I CAN FREAKING PAY THE RENT @______@ I'm sort of scared about that...because I already have bills to pay.
GAHHH oh well. I'm excited, but it's kinda like....AFJKlLKAJEOCVKDLKAHklasdf so much of the packing and the packing and more of the packing...I dun wanna know what's under my beeeed...
OHFUCK I have an annoying headache.
But yeah, this weekend was pretty fun. Thursday and Friday in B-town, and Saturday and Sunday at Kevin's. We went to this fast food place on Sunday, and omg there was this family there who had like six puppies running around in the grass! SO CUTE. The guy put all the puppies into the box when they were gonna leave, and instead of just leaving like I thought they were going to do, he brought the box of puppies over to us and let me and Kathy pet them! XD He had noticed that I kept looking over at them, hehe! OMGGGGG so cute, they were tiny little Rottweiler puppies <3
And then they left and I was sad D:
Anyway...man, I can't type anymore, headache. Brain dead. Buhbyeeee.
EDIT: Well, we ALMOST had a new cat. Lucky just ATTACKED poor Pouncer (yeah...LUCKY. LUCKY DID THAT. WTF!!) and now mom wants to take him back!! She won't even try taking the steps to get them familiar with each other! SDFKLJLAKFKD *headdesk headdesk headdesk* And I can't take Pouncer because I'm already taking my brother's cat... *cries* POOR POUNCER!! HE IS SUCH AN AWESOME CAT. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH LUCKY!? HE LOVES EVERY OTHER GODDAMN CAT THAT COMES AROUND!! Jeez, we never thought Lucky would be like that!
Man. This sucks! @_@
EDIT 2: Well, Pouncer is at least staying the night...dunno what will happen tomorrow. We'll see I suppose, but jeez, why can't they just GET ALONG!? @___@
