the wedding and more...
Well Boguck and Matt's wedding was last weekend and it was great. She looked gorgeous and we had a blast. I got wasted, but I had to make up for the not-drinking I did at the bachelorette party so that I could make sure Bogcuk got home safe.
She bought all the bridesmaids a flask with our initials engraved and they were full of tequilla rose! Mine is light blue. Then being the best friend she is, she bought me an airplane ticket so I can finally come visit her. I told her she shouldn't have done that because it was expensive, but I am super excited to finally get to go to Florida and to see her new place! YAY!
I went to see "Across the Universe" this weekend. And if you care to know my opinion about it... I'll post my review soon. I have to write one for our online mag (www.americanobserver.net), but we don't publish for a week or two. I'll post it here first once I write it up.
I have to write a paper... and I can't bring myself to. Writing a story is different than writing a paper. Boo for grad school.
I had a blast yesterday.
I went to a steelers bar, The Pour House, by the capitol around noon. I drank alot. The bar was full of Pittsburghers dressed in steelers gear and getting wasted. Everyone was so friendly. We met this lady, Bitsy, who was so excited for us girls to be there. I saw two friends from Duquesne, one of which I haven't seen in two years, and the other since St. Patrick's day. The DJ that runs the half-time music, Sterling, bought me a beer because I was having trouble getting to the bar. Then Katharine and I met this other guy, Wood, who bought us several drinks. Then we hopped in his BMW and headed to a nice restaurant in Georgetown where he bought us more drinks and dinner. I felt bad so before I left I gave him my last $10. hahah. I got home around 11 still drunk. I assed out and it was nice. I had a lot of work to do, but it was good to let loose!
Steelers are 2-0! Hell yeah!
