One Shot (Demon hunter)
This is a short one shot that I wrote the other day...hope you enjoy.
“What the hell is all this” Vanna shrieked as she looked at the large pile of paper on her desk. Things were scattered about hastily including a pile of books and several crumbled up newspapers. She had just gotten back from her latest job and was dismayed to see her sanctuary in ruin. She looked at her pet, or was it partner she could never remember. He was sitting with his feet up on the desk having just sat down moments before his large wolfish ears back against his head.
“..Don’t know” he said in a nonchalant manor as she stared at his feet on her desk. He needed to be retrained he had forgotten all his manners on the last mission. She clenched her fists and stomped her foot lightly.
“What do they think I am?” she asked the blond wolf demon at the desk. He shrugged at her and continued to sit with his feet on her desk. His dirty grimy feet that had dried mud caked on the boots he wore. “Uh Hem…” she interjected looking at the feet. He shrugged lightly and frowned.
“I don’t know…” he muttered an answer to her question ignoring her objections. Now he was purposefully disobeying her. She would have to put a stop to this right now.
“Feet off the desk Okami-chan” she said in a super sugary voice. He looked at her then looked at his boots with a frown.
“Why…there pretty clean” he said. She stared at him then at the boots then back to…oh god there was dirt on her desk.
“OKAMI!!!” she yowled as she shot for his feet. He swiftly moved them with a frown and she careened over her desk scattering the paperwork.
“God now look at this mess” O’kami said looking at the fallen papers. Vanna nodded her agreement and stood up walking over to the desk.
“Yes that’s why I told you to take your boots off look at this speck…” she said pointing to a few flakes of sand on her desk. O’kami looked at her dumbstruck and then looked at the papers on the floor.
“I meant the papers…” he said raising an eyebrow. She looked down at them and shrugged then started to brush the sand off her desk.
“Oh well…it’s only the job slips” she said with a wide grin. “There all clean” she smiled. Okami stared at her darkly.
“You are an idiot” he said. Was he calling her a name. she turned to look at the man and frowned deeply.
“Ok that’s it SIT BOY!” she yelled. O’kami looked at her lightly then laughed.
“Aint your pet so no…” he said to his partner.
