Where I am, where I've been
Hey, so I've been away for a very long time. Not really away - I've been writing, and I've been reading and commenting on all the other great fic making their rounds. I just haven't posted in a long time, and there are two good reasons for that.
1) I've got a second job now, and so that's another 25-35 hours a week I can't write.
2) The fic I'm working on now is sort of my "magnum opus" - longer than any of the other chapters I've posted, and I do want to make sure I get it just right.
The other problem is that my magnum opus is turning out sort of "unpostable" - it's got a gory scene that's definitely going to make a lot of people go squick hardcore. So I'm going to post it to my journal, but not to the hp communities I've been posting to. But I am also going to write an alternate version - less squicky - and post that to both my journal and the communities, so that people who aren't willing to put up a with a little blood can still enjoy my story.
Anyway, I have no idea when they'll be posted, I just wanted to let people know that I still exist and I'm still writing. So yeah... there it is...
