Not quiet as in silent, exactly, but the sort of quiet you get when there's no evidence of human civilization for miles around, save a single road running straight through the middle.*
*The spell of peace is abruptly broken as a black Celica tears down the road, headed for the Central City area. Inside the car, from its place tucked into the central console of the dashboard, the small flatscreen monitor folds out of its hiding place and turns to face the currently empty driver's seat. The screen lights up and a dot begins to blink on the screen, pinpointing Ambassador Witwicky's current location. Kaci attempts to establish radio contact through the police car's frequency as she nears her intended destination.*
