Helloooo Everyone who will actually see this cause no one posts to LJ anymore including me. We used to be so good. What happened?
I'm back from spring break and it was ok but coulda been better. Not as relaxing as I'd hoped even though I didn't have any homework that I had to do over break besides read a book for my French history class, which was actually a novel and really good.
Yesterday was the first day of spring and I can definitely start to tell! The birds have been chirping like crazy! Night and day! And some of the trees and flowers are starting to bloom and that makes me happy :)
I'm busy as usual and working A LOT! I'm trying to figure out study abroad stuff and getting my visa and all and I'm stoked because I'm going to go over a week before my program starts and go to Germany and see Sarah and Marina! Pumped! I'll also be in France for my birthday! So that'll make 2 birthdays for me in Europe! That's kinda cool huh?
I have an interview today for the Providence Scholarship. Providence hospitals pay back the tuition part of your loans for junior and senior year and then you work for them for 3 years after you graduate. At first I was a bit skeptical about it but because the economy kinda sucks and my cousin who is a nurse was telling me that they're either getting laid off or not hired is kinda scary so a job would be good. It's sad that they need nurses but the economy is faltering and then this kinda job they prefer you have some experience so who is going to hire a brand new nurse with no experience versus someone who wants to transfer from another hospital and has 10 years under her belt? Obviously people will eventually hire you because you do need to get experience and a job and all but it may not be happenin' much now.
Anyways, that's a short post for now. Better than nothin though. I gotta get showered up and eat some bwekfast!
