The smiley faces show people that I'm smiling when they can't see me. :)

But if they don't know that I'm smiling they won't read what I wrote properly. It means that I'm happy, so they can read it happy. :):) Isn't that a good idea?

See, I don't know if you meant no with a smile or a frown. :(:( Well, I think it's a good idea, and Katsuo-kun agrees with me. :) I'll keep doing it and if nobody likes it then I can stop.

What does it depend on? I always like it when people are polite, because when I'm sad it makes me happy and when I'm happy it makes me happier.

Yes. If I'm nice to people, it will probably make them happier, and then they'll be nice to me, which makes me happy. And then everybody is happy.
