double lunch goes country
So horsey riding this friday is a go. I talked to my boss today, and he said it's fine if i want to bring people out on friday for a ride. it's gonna be $10, which is pretty reasonable considering if you try to go out and ride by yourself, you're not gonna find anything for less than $25/hr., and we can have more fun, ie. go faster than you can go on a public ride. works for me. i'm excited cause i haven't been on a fun ride since last fall, and it's gonna be nice to ride without having to worry about what kinds of things can go wrong. Good fun will be had, and digicam photos will be taken.
Good stuff in the mail today: I got my contract for this summer, and it turns out I'll be making $20/wk more than I had thought. It works out to $1.28/hr. Oh yeah, big money. It's always good to realize that I will be going away to university completely broke. Although, since we don't get paid until the very end of the summer, I can't really blow my earnings too easily, unless I have another of those costly encounters with the police.
