Tonight I went to the Bare Naked Statues concert. Before you think I messed up the group's name- I didnt. The Bare Naked Statues is our all male acapella group at school and they are phenomenal. But tonight's show featured BNS and several other acapella groups from wash u, u of chicago(thats quite a distance)and I believe U of I. But there was this one co-ed group from Wash U and I swear my mouth was wide open throughout the whole song when they sang this soul joint, Emotional Rollercoaster. The lead singer and the background just nailed it. Amazing- could not believe it.
On another note I found that I have a favorite love song. I was burning a friend of mine's music because I simply had no rap music and I just like to listen to a little bit of it to dance or nod my head or just to get in touch with my ghetto side- haha. Well anyway he had a few old slow jams and I came accross this song. I rememebered it instantly and fell in love with it all over again. Everything about this song just makes me feel something. The way he sings, the lyrics, the music- it is soo extremely beautiful.
