SO i thought i would detail my good deed of the day. Besides my daily good deed of being a devoted and wonderful instructor of the future leaders of the world (scary). It was Derek (Julie's team teacher) birthday today, but also, the PTA was giving out free pie to the teachers. SO i went down to the teacher's cafeteria to get some pie yum. I got 2 pieces, one for me and one to give to Julie since we do stuff like that. It was right at the beginning of second period. And so i get to Julies room, pies in hands, and that Derek walks in behind me, and the whole class sings happy birthday to him. So, i act as if i was part of the surprise and give Derek my piece of pie and tell him i got it for him from the lounge for his bday. He was happy, and I interpreted the event as a sign from God that i needed to not eat something that will make me fatter. Hooray!
In other news, an interesting dream:
I was in college again taking a history class, maybe a 3000 level or something, and our instructor told us we had to recreate the Battle of Hastings. So we are on this field, and there are Normans on horses and I, an Anglo-saxon, and the others on my team are just foot soldiers. Someone mistakenly gives the signal to the others that we are ready to begin but we arent. They start charging, and I run to the pile of fake plastic swords that has been left on the ground for us. The horses start to overcome me but I remember that the way to defeat them is to stab the horses in the chest first to trip them up so the soldiers fall off. So, Im using this tactic, bear in mind with plastic swords, and i am saying to the Norman reenactors that "if this were real they'd so be dead right now"
skip to phase two, me and another woman are heavily pregnant and about to give birth. I am lying on a table but there is another one of me that is going into the other room to help the other lady. I am calling for the doctor but one isnt coming so i end up delivering her baby in the bathtub. Its a boy. I go back out into the room im laying in and am disappointed to see that I have already given birth and I have missed the whole thing, but am glad that I have a baby girl instead of a boy. Then there is this guy who keeps trying to make out with me, and i am trying to tell him about the Battle recreation. He wants to make out but i am saying, "no i just had a baby" and he says "whos the father" and i say "the father isnt in the picture" Then i am inside and my baby is about a foot shorter than me and looks like my little sister Kim. I am thinking, great, im going to be a horrible mom, because im going to treat her like my little sister and tell her to shut up, and push her around.
That is all i remember, if you made it through all that i welcome your psychological interpretations, and other comments as well.
