Billy turned 30 today. No big party or anything. We went to Hooter's. Nathan got more attention than anyone else there. I think the guys who went to see and flirt with big-bosomed girls were jealous of my son!
Billy's playing D&D tonight, as usual, so I had a chance to make his cake. I thought I made him one last year - I wanted to look through all the cakes I've made for him, but I didn't find a picture (and Lord knows I was taking pictures around that time and wouldn't dare delete one), so I guess I didn't get one made. Not that I didn't have anything else to do.
anyway, I didn't get Billy a rad-ass gift like last year (the R2-D2 robot), but I did make him a bad-ass cake (in my opinion).
30th birthday cake: Chocolate with buttercream icing
Wolverine!
Claws and all!
Don't worry - I'll protect your cake. After all, it's got my face on it!
Don't even think about it!
I rule this caaaaaaaaaaaake!
28th birthday cake: German chocolate (my first, and so far last time to make one)
27th birthday cake: Chocolate swirl pound cake. I wasn't impressed.
I wish his present was as cool as his cake. I found a picture holder that reads "Daddy" and a Darth Vadar key chain. And the Wolverine figuring. He'll have to wait until we settle in our own place (as I have to wait for my birthday present, too)
