This seems a little late to be asking but I do actually have a question. Since I've followed your guide pretty darn closely I figured you'd be the best person to ask.
Is it possible to write too much for the Personality? My character comes from a one-shot graphic novel so I thought it would be important to hit everything possible. Now after sending the darn thing I'm double guessing myself. Haha. Is there such a thing as too much detail?
As long as you're hitting all the important parts, some minor detail isn't necessary, especially if it has a potential to overrun the character's base personality. Another thing that will overrun the character's personality is basically retelling the story and how they reacted to it, rather than discuss the character's personality and pull individual examples from the story.
I think I understand what you mean here. There's a little section where I retell parts of the story but it's very small. Thanks for the fast reply. I'm feeling a little bit better now.
