Honeymoon!!!
Well, i'm in a 4 star hotel in downtown Denver, Co playing on my laptop while roatha's still sleeping in the huge down bed. We're on the 19th floor and can see all over downtown.
The internet isn't free like we'd hoped, but it's $10/24 hrs. But not so bad i figure. There's a big screen flat tv with tons of plug spots, but they did some code so we can't plug anything in. Roatha's tried looking online for the code and getting a universal remote but now he's thinking about going to the pawn shop a couple blocks down and getting a little tv. That's so we can play xbox games, but also because we spent some good money on 'adult dvds' for tonight and now we can't use them. If we'd realized that it'd cost this much we'dve just bought it on tv. We may still, i feel weird bringing in a tv to a fancy hotel.
We're gonna try and take a bus to Colorado Springs to see the mountains and a waterfall. We get a $20 a day credit at the hotel and there's an expensive hotel restaurant, bar, and 24 convience store/coffee shop. So, last night we used it for coffee, hot apple cider and a big fat banana foster with banana bread cookie. Today we're gonna use it for breakfast at the coffee shop thing here. I told the cleaning ladies that we'd be ready for them to come in at noon, so i've got a couple hours before roatha needs to get up. We're really enjoying the sleep and comfy room, but we'll have to get up eventually.
I honestly wouldn't mind spending a good chunk of the afternoon drinking mind erasers and then watching a movie this evening, but if roatha's still up for it then we can try get close to the mountains. Too bad the hotel is too classy for comedy central.
