Oh my, Donne, one of the only poets worth anything. Lovely poem, however. Nothing beats a prose injected with technical vocabulary.

I was about to ask you to qualify the "one of the only poets worth anything" claim, but then I remembered the highly productive two-hour Acadec meeting we spent trying to come up with a list of Good British Writers, successfully naming four.

At least don't deny me Eliot and Plath: they are indefatigable badasses.
