Oh, stories. I love it when they turn out to be more fun than you originally expected. I want to see what you end up with; this has me curious. Yikes, but I'm really lame and have pretty much decided to drop out of NaNoWriMo already. Sorry for not going through the possible insanity with you.

I'll probably have to hold this against you for the rest of your life. I mean, er, good try! My current bet is that this'll turn out to be nothing more than a slight derivation of the "real" novel I'm writing -- I must wear some sort of literary horse-blinders -- so don't get too curious; it'll most likely end up as cannibal-fodder. Though I do appreciate that someone actually read this.
