Don't think that I didn't read/hear what you're saying just because I never actually comment on anything relative to what you wrote. I do hear, don't you worry.

BUT-- to continue on my non-helpful, non-insightful commenting trend: two things.

1) Yer picture is "B-E-A-utiful".

2) I really think, being related to you as I am and knowing you as I do, that "I have to be able to come back ready to push the boulder" is really a fantastic, double-meaning-ed phrase, and I salute you for your pun, intentional or unintentional. BahahahahaaahhaaaBoulder.

Here's an illustration of how deeply the 'white noise' generator has its claws into us: It's rare that I ever hear/read anybody who seems to 'get it' with as much simple and exquisite clarity as you express here. And yet you chose to title the entry as you did... because we're trained by the big-bad-money-makin'-machine, from the time we're very young, to believe that the 'white noise' is what it's all about.
