I've lost some serious weight.
My jeans actually fit (yay!) and the few friends I have here in NY have noticed it also, must be the lack of food consumption?? I walked all over Manhattan today with my new friend Lara looking for a textbook for my Chinese/Middle Eastern Literature class, love the class btw. I totally see how I have managed to shed the pounds by walking all over this city. Up the stairs, down the stairs, walk here, walk there but apparently my body will grow use to all the walking and my ass will begin to expand once again.
I completely forgot it was Dies y Seis yesterday and didn't celebrate my people's day whatsoever! I'm gonna make up for it tonight though and drink some Mexican Beer over at Johnny Pumps (insert laughter here) and if I get drunk enough I'll get a tattoo of the Virgen Mary on my arm or back. No this is not a gay bar or anything of that caliber, it's just a local bar here in my neighborhood a few blocks up from where I live.
The one good thing about living in NY is that movies make their premiere here first, so tomorrow I'm going to watch 'Corpse Bride' and I get to call everyone else and ruin it for them!
