so it went something like this.

My lack of luck with the airlines continued as I was on my way to NY through Atlanta. A small storm moved through the NY area wednesday which grounded flights coming and going into NY. According to the NYer's on my flight it was a small storm that passed thru quickly but by no means was grounds for delaying our flight. So I got to know the Atlanta airport well since I was there for about 7 hours, three of which were spent sitting in the plane waiting for the all clear for take off. Needless to say I didn't make it out of Atlanta wednesday night and spent the night in a cheap hotel watching bad t.v. and drinking bud light.

Thurs I made it to NY and went straight to school from the airport, signed up for my courses, checked out a few places to live, and finally made it to the friends I was staying with. Friday walked around Manhattan, hung out in SOHO,Upper Eastside, East Village, West Village, and Chinatown, and had an awsome Vietnamese dinner. If anyone is interested CBGB is in danger of losing their lease and closing soon, I would have gone in but their was a long line of people waiting to get in. It was also gay pride weekend in NY but unfortunately I wasn't able to stay for that or the Mermaid parade in Brooklyn.

Anyhow I'm back in Austin, my luggage didn't make the flight even though I had a two hour layover in Atlanta which by my calculations is enough time to get my luggage to the next plane. Who knows I don't work for the airlines and I don't know what their system is like.

I'm going over to my sisters to finish watching 'Ray' and continue drinking the twelve pack of beer we bought last night, jesus it's hot!
