I have no freakin' clue where I got this. Been reading up on the internet (what else is there to do) and it said you could carry it for 4-7 weeks before showing any symptoms. And some people who carry it don't suffer from the effects. You can get it from kissing (as we all know), drinking or eating after someone. Or in very rare cases, you can get it from someone's cough, which I'm guessing has to be pretty moist and end up in your nose, ears, or mouth. I don't know anyone who has had this in years, so I'm thinking one of YOU disgusting no-trait showing characters passed this on to me. No, actually, I think it was probably a family member I might have drunk/eaten after. I don't usually make a habit out of eating other people's food and drinks, though...
So on the plus side I am staying at my house in Alexandria now, instead of hanging out in mold-infested Metairie. I get to see a little bit of what married life may be like, except that things are totally platonic because I'm contageous. And I'm too pooped to do much. Guess it's probably not married life at all. Although I am digging the being here when he comes home from work and having dinner together bit every night.
