What used to be a nightly thaaang has been replaced by sewing and word games. I'm determined to try and keep my sewing to pre-bedtime hours so that I can have my reading back.
John T reminded me of one of my favorite books - "Lamb" by Christopher Moore. Another all-time favorite is "A Prayer for Owen Meaney" by John Irving...; "Like Water for Chocolate" by Laura Esquivel... "Poisonwood Bible" by Barbara Kingsolver..... Hmmmm... "Watership Down" by Richard Adams. I loves me some Bronte sisters. I loves me some Dickens. I loves me some Jane Austen. OH - that reminds me of a book I want to read: "Pride and Predjudice and Zombies"!
I like classics.
I like quirky stuff.
I like quirky books, too. (ha ha! Sarah - high five!)
Surprisingly, I never read THE Trilogy. (I know! I know! Don't start in on me! I have 'em right here. Those come first.)
Any good book suggestions from y'all?
