its my birthday the 16th.
i have an IQ of 140+. go me.
i plan to go to J-con in Orlando on saturday.
i miss nick a little. call more often, h8 u. texas is silly.
i'm taking a class in which im learning pharmaceutical law, certification requirements, the steps to becoming a graduate student in medical school, am loved by my professor, who is a PhD with 2 masters, and am writing a 12 page paper on healthcare reform, using APA format rules and citations, and cannot use wikipedia or any source of opinion, esp. unpublished.
my dog is doing okay.
im planning on getting a car next month, and finally can.
i moved.
id like more tattoos, despite growing more and more into an intellectual.
my hair's getting longer. the sides annoy me.
im over it. and by 'it', i mean the whole past of my own life. nothing's a shock anymore, and i dont blame myself or anyone else for the shit that's gone down. i think peace isnt far off.
i finally have work benefits and vacation time.
i bought a book on hebrew and a book on latin, finally. now i just need one on arabic or hindi and one on german and i think i can finally start learning all the cradle-of-civilization languages. well, except russian.
this may hasnt torn me apart like may so often does. maybe things are looking up.
i sacrifice independence to gain independence.
i want more music and video games for my computer.
im generally content with my friends, my life, my belongings, my lack of a relationship, and myself. although i do want to get back itno martial arts. too many years of not doing them is starting to make my metabolism drop. which i guess is cheaper in the long run. but looking cute has a work-effort grade to it and i need to keep up my GPA.
i should work on relaxing and taking less part in work drama, and also on being more managerial/adult, like a college student studying both medical and business should be. a demonstration of ability is just that if it cannot be exercised at will elsewise.
i only want to have a good birthday which is drama-free and doesnt involve schoolwork or work-work. if i get no cards/money/gifts/whatever then im fine with that; i merely want a best wishes and not to be alone for it. ... though booze is never denied as a version of appreciation.
i am exceptional, and as a result of this, do not need to be accepted by a complete stranger. this means that on a date or potential date or even casual acquaintance, your view of me because of my lack of shaving, or hair, or clothing, or initial shyness, or initial boistrousness, mean little to me. i say this because im fine with me. you dont need to be. its just easier for you if you do decide you like me. -how i am-.
i hate my job on an above-my-manager+corporate level. i think i always will, so i think my employment with them is coming to the back of it's book. i have benefits and time off now, which is awesome, but im really tired of the way im being treated. my compromise in my ethical standard of how i should be treated has caused me to generally not give a fuck about my job, which cascades in my performance and general behavior. this is not something i wish to allow myself to fall into as acceptable routine, and so i've voiced this to the proper people who are capable of handling it, and they have not handled it. this promotes a lack of faith in the 'system' and because i understand both A business and B benefits including but not limited to healthcare, i know im being dicked around. my coworkers and boss are fun, but im gaining dissonance just from biting my lip.
and on that note, need to write scott out completely. im tired of the tale.
i have beer.
