John and Sherlock, your writing...it's all so rich. I love the disguises (!) and your character development. Absolutely captivating.

Ahhhh, kaalee! I loved this so fucking much. Just. So gorgeous. I LOVE how you took your time with it, giving us all of John's intrigued-ness and confusion and frustration in beautiful detail before the shit hit the fan. And the unbroken thread of their devotion each other, even when things were bad, is so gorgeous - my favourite moment might have been the one in the middle, when John is upset and hurt and so tired, but Sherlock gets the call about the serial killer and asks John to come with him and John just grins and there's no question that he's going with him, despite it all. And then of course how it all comes together, so quietly, with John just. figuring him out and giving him what he needs and. :( ♥ ♥♥♥ When he took his disguise off so deliberately. and John just had to help him a little at the end. :( I had to stop reading for a few minutes and just luxuriate in how gorgeous that was. UGH YOU ARE A GENIUS. You write the most beautiful love scenes, I cannot even. they just get inside my chest and twist and ache and burn, and ( ... )

Oh Jeannie, your comment just made me flail with glee! ♥! You know what I think of your writing and that you liked this just made my toes curl with happiness. A couple of my very favorite stories had a very meandering, slow way of getting Sherlock and John together, and for some reason, this just grew and grew and it took so long for the two of them to just start figuring things out (John about Sherlock, and Sherlock about himself), so I'm glad the payoff was worth it. ♥

Thank you, thank you, thank you, seriously. You completely made my day. omg. ♥
