☮ I am determined to hit 40k on my story today. I haven't had any time to write in about two weeks and I'm feeling both a bit of withdrawal and guilt for those that are following this story on the anon-meme and haven't had an update in that long. :(
☮ So, I never tried the lobster ice cream while up in Maine. Alas. Another time, then.
☮ We've been saving change/coins for a few years now, both copilot and I forgetting about it. Finally yesterday I decided it was time to take them to the Coinstar machine and get some use out of them. Two gallon-sized ziploc bags of change = $181. Um, wow. I sort of feel like I should buy us a present.
☮ Just discovered Sara Bareilles via some random music searching / clicking. I'm really out of the musical loop these days. I like her style a lot -- anyone else out there fans of hers?
☮ I was at work all day Friday for a long planning meeting with my team. One thing we got the chance to look at was our schedule. For the first time in three years, our classes aren't eating ridiculously early and having to deal with a 4 HOUR afternoon. I've been lobbying for a later lunch for years now, and it's so nice to finally get it.
☮ Also: we got our class lists (they've never been available this early!). I spent some time this weekend making a new spreadsheet (names, birthdates, etc…) and adding their names into my class list templates. I always love this process because I get their names so firmly into my head that when I meet them for the first time, I feel like I've been waiting for them for so long. Ask me and I'll recite their names for you in alphabetical order by first name. (yes, I'm aware this makes me a little odd. I'm okay with this.)
☮ I've been sort of... off for the past week or so, but trying to find my center again. So, for you all: *much love* I hope things are going well for you, and if there's anything I can do, please let me know. I've missed you all. ♥
