Another piece of children's literature. Read for a friend because I told her I would. Posted on Friday, because oh, it's been a week.

Of note: my students love this story.

Robert Munsch is such an amazing story teller. Have you ever seen him live? This book is my absolute favourite of his, but I do love Thomas' Snowsuit as well.

I think every girl of 12 should be given this book. It's a great book for younger kids, but the message is more poignant for girls of that age. "You look like a real prince, but you are a bum!" LOVE IT!

I do think it's awesome for girls that are a bit older, too. YES! :)
