an open letter to Colin Morgan...
Just watched Merlin 3x05...
Dear Colin Morgan,
How are you so pretty?? How, I ask you??
I said to myself, "Self? You have some work to do, lo this very Sunday. You should watch the latest episode of Merlin and work on your lesson plans for this week." After agreeing with myself, I sat down to do that very thing.
Colin Morgan, I did not get any lesson planning done. Do you understand? This is Not Like Me. Capital N. Capital L. Capital M.
I am the Queen of Multitasking. I am Baroness von Productivity. I am Workhorse McGet-things-done.
So why -- why, I ask you -- was I completely unable to look away from the screen?
How wrong is it that when I first watched this scene (below), all I could do was look at your fingers? My thoughts were something along the lines of: fingers! *flail* long fingers! *flailer* fingernails *flailest*
Evidence:
Colin Morgan, that would have been okay. I mean, I do have sort of a thing for fingers. In fact, my copilot has possibly the most beautiful hands in the history of ever, so I could have chalked this up to just being a "thing" of mine.
But no.
No, of course, I had to rewind the scene four times.
My next thoughts were (approximately in this order): omg, jawline. lips. cheekbones. the lines of your neck. And all that water everywhere! I was possibly even staring at your bloody eyesockets.
So, um, exactly what are we going to do about this? I have many more weeks of school coming up, many more hours of lesson planning that needs accomplishing, and you are really not cooperating. Don't you want children to learn? What about the children, Colin Morgan?
If you'd like to make this up to me, I do appreciate classroom visitors at any time.

In other news, I'm going to head out on some errands, and to a coffee shop to get some work done. Some people make it far too difficult to get work done at home. *pointed glare* You know who you are.
