[am back]
★ I'm back from my aunt's memorial service. We got back really late on Sunday night. It was a long weekend, but full of good things, too. My family has its crazy (in mass quantities), but there is certainly a lot of love there.
★ Many thanks to kerryblaze, misscake, wordplay, and evil_erato for the many email picspams of Bradley & Colin and to shes_gone for all the texts. They were perfect. ♥
★ While I was up in Maine, copilot and my brother's wife were bonding via making much fun of my family's penchant for hugging. "I'm not going to see you for fifteen minutes!" copilot wailed teasingly, "Let me give you a big hug!"
In my family's defense... well, they're not too far off the mark. But when you're with my family, you definitely feel loved. Or at least hugged.
★ I went kayaking on Friday morning with a good friend of my parents (copilot and I stayed with her) for nearly three hours. It was glorious. My hands had little sore spots for the rest of the weekend, and they were a source of great pride for me. *\o/*
★ We leave on Saturday for St. Lucia. I can't wait! A friend of ours is getting married, so we decided to turn it into a vacation, because we've never been.
★ This post is lots of babbling; I really have no idea why I'm even writing all of this. :P So, um... quick, Bradley: take off your shirt!
