Woah, I'm updating!

I know, it's been a really long time. My life is really boring though so I don't feel like I have to update all that often.

Right now I'm in my CS61A lecture >:). The internet is kinda slow in Pimintel, which is dumb because it's such a major classroom on campus. Speaking of classes, I already know I'll be going crazy this semester, especially once midterms start. I know in April that I had a midterm one evening and the next day I will have another two midterms. Also I don't know when my midterms will be for my CS70 class. I don't know why he hasn't told us yet. Anyway a bigger breakdown of my classes:

Comp Sci 61A: I think this will be one of my favorite classes. Professor Harvey seems like a great teacher and I've only heard good things about him. Right now, we're only going over stuff that we learned in CS3 except it's a lot more.. conceptual. I don't know if that's the word, but I'm already learning stuff I didn't know. Awesome :) Plus labs are optional (although I WILL go to them otherwise I know I am going to be screwed over).

Comp Sci 70: I'm not sure how I will feel about this class. I'm feeling pretty optimistic though because it's going to teach me how to do proofs and I've never really been good at those. However, like I said earlier, he hasn't told us yet when out midterms are going to be so that worries me a little.

Physics 8A: I hated physics in high school. I'm not even sure why I'm taking this class to begin with... but maybe it'll be helpful? It doesn't seem too bad so far. He's really been emphasizing vectors, which I think taking Math 54 has really helped me understand, so right now it's pretty easy. I also already got a 98% on the first homework which I thought was ridiculously easy. I'm sure it'll get harder soon. My lab GSI is really hot. He has a Irish accent. *drool*

Electrical Engineering 42/43: This is going to be my least favorite class. It's my third 1.5 hour class in my series of 4 straight 1.5 hours classes, and I can never concentrate. Lecture is really really boring. I also don't understand half the stuff, and everyone else seems to already know all this stuff even though it's an introductory class. I also hate that it's actually the same class as EE100 which is a freaking upper division class for MechE and ChemE and NukeE majors who have probably already been doing this stuff forever. Blah.

Everything else in my life is the same. I'm trying to lose weight because I've been feeling really unhappy with my body lately. I think I've been doing a pretty good job so far, but it's hard to know when I don't have a scale. Plus I don't have time/money to go to the gym so it's largely based on me walking to class everyday and eating better. But anyway, that's about it. BYE!
