Band and stuff
Good party last night ;) NET PRIDE, BITCHES.
So band has been keeping me super busy this past week. It's finally the weekend, though, and I finally have time to just relax and not worry about anything. We learned all of pregame and my spot is considerably easier than my spot last year. I remember last year I had to diagonal high step just about every page, but this year I have no diagonals at all and I basically move back and forth in one area most of the time.
DA-ing (director's assistant) has been really fun. I think it's really funny when we have to fight for the ladders on the full run throughs because no one wants to march that 50 zillion times. Surprisingly, though, I actually manage to play the entire pregame. I mean, I do get pretty tired and may have to stop to catch my breath for a second, but for the most part I can do it without feeling like I'm going to collapse like I felt like last year. I doubt I'm in better shape because I'm fatter than I was last year, but oh well. I can't wait to start the Green Day show. The music is really awesome, so I hope the charting is fun too.
I've been trying to make a new website for the clarinets but I've been in a slump and I can't think of any ideas. Hell, I haven't designed anything in such a long time I'm just in a dry rut. It's kind of frustrating and I wish I could get back into it, but I feel like I have no time. This semester I'm only taking 13 units, but they're really tough (ochem, CS 3, math 54). Next semester isn't going to be any easier. I wish I could just find time to do some designing again... but what can you do? School starts on monday, and I am super excited :D
Sorry guys if I never comment in your LJs. I do read them. I just don't comment a lot. I hope everyone is well and I'll update again sometime soon, hopefully.
EDIT: I got an A in my english class over summer!!! This is my first A at Cal so far! WOOHOO!
