10-page research papers suck
So this weekend I had to finish my 10-page paper for my english class and, man, it really sucked ass. Just 5 pages was really hard, but I could barely even make 10. I actually only ended up with 9... but my teacher said that was okay.

So around Thursday I had a really bad ache in my right lower back. I thought that I might have pulled a muscle or something lifting a kid out of the pool, so I thought it would go away after maybe a day or two. Man, I was wrong. So on Friday, I realized that I felt like I had to pee almost constantly and whenever I did pee it would kinda hurt. I kind of ignored it and also hoped that would go away.
Then on Saturday morning I woke up around 4 in the morning cuz I felt like throwing up and my back was killing me. However, I thought it was my front abdomen so I thought I had appendicitis or something. I went to the hospital, but while I was there I started feeling better so I left before they could call me for my turn.
Yesterday wasn't too bad, although my back still really hurt. Peeing was getting more and more painful and more frequent. I decided to look up the reason why and I came upon "urinary tract infection" and sure enough I had all the symptoms. I went to the Tang Center website to see if I could go schedule and appointment to figure out if that's what I had.
So this morning I call Tang Center and they ask me questions. At the end the woman asked me if I had a back ache and I told her that I did. She basically flipped out and told me to go to the Urgent Care facility in the Tang Center as soon as possible because I have a possible kidney infection. So Uri takes me to the Tang Center (luckily he was here this morning!) and I waited in Urgent Care. I had to take a urine sample (mmm, yummy) and wait for another 20 minutes until they got my data. Finally the doctor sees me and she wants to check my kidneys and stuff by poking my back. That was actually.. really painful. She shows me the lab results showing I have like 50 times more white blood cells in my pee than I should have and that I didn't have a lot of bacteria in my pee area which means that the infection already went to my bladder and kidney. So BASICALLY, I have a kidney AND bladder infection which apparently takes about a week for the bacteria to get there. That's SPECTACULAR..
So right now I'm taking antibiotics twice a day and I'm probably going to get a fever for the next few days in reaction to the antibiotics. It sucks because 1) my back hurts so much right now 2) I feel nauseous 3) I am missing work and I really want the money 4) this is my last session so I only have 2 more weeks of work. Well, I suppose I'm lucky and it could be so much worse cuz kidney stuff really sucks. She said I should get fully better after about 2 weeks, so that's good. I guess I really shouldn't complain too much because it's better I get it now instead of later when band and school starts.
