Sucky things suck!
(But otherwise, life isn't all that bad.)

I've got my brain tied in a knot about Casey,
I haven't slept in 36 hours,
I fucking BOMBED my Human Origins midterm because I didn't have time to finish it, even though I KNEW how to answer most of the questions,
This cough won't go away,
My period started today,
AND NOW I GOTTA CLEAN THE CAT LITTER BOX!!!
(If it weren't for a couple of very awesome, nice people looking out for me today, I'd probably be insanely depressed right now. XD)

I must have looked as shitty as I felt today because the TA for my Paleontology lab sat down next to me and was like, "You know... You don't have to stay if you don't want to. I'm not so charming as to compel you to stay here against your will." To this, I replied, "Aw, Baby, you know I love you," which she seemed to enjoy, and we took turns dozing off and playing with dead things from the Paleozoic. She was hopped up on Benadryl, so she was continuously head-desking right along with me. XD We must have looked so pathetic...

I decided it was really time to leave when I finally arrived at the crinoid fossil specimens and neither of us were particularly into the game. (The crinoids are our favorites, so we usually sit around talking about stuff while admiring them and making up plots to steal them. xD Deardra is probably the most awesome Geology PhD student in the universe.) Today, we were just like, "Woo... Crinoids!..." mainly because it was the last group of specimens, and were otherwise just too exhausted to care. When I told her that I hadn't slept in forevers, she basically said, "get out of my classroom, go to sleep. Now." And that was that.

Feeling especially fatigued at that point, I decided to call Shelby and beg her to let me take a nap in her dorm. Being the incredibly awesome person that she is, she accepted outright and even went so far as to dress up the spare bunk with some sheets, a comforter and a pillow. She couldn't stay, because she does a radio broadcast about anime and video games with some of her friends every Wednesday around the time that I arrived, but she downloaded the stream for the radio station and left it playing on her computer so I could listen. I remember hearing the Katamari Damashii theme music, followed by stuff about some video game trailers and then I must have dozed off because the next thing I knew, she was back and had pizza for me. =3 I watched her Photoshop for a while in a sleep-deprivation-induced near-vegetative trance.

Once I'd woken up a bit, our friend, Alex, showed up and we hung out for a little while until they were like, "I kinda forgot that you don't live in a dorm. It's kind of assumed that you're homeless and should stay here with us, but since you do have a home, you should go to it and get some rest," and I was like, "kay," Then they walked me to the bus stop at the Union and we parted ways after exchanging hugs and good wishes. <3

Ahh,,, (wtf, triple comma?) I'm so sleepy that I can't feel feelings right now. XD I'm going to bed. Good night! And I'll get around to writing about the pilgrimage home at... some point. =D
