Don't like these as much as I wanted to

Elizabeth Arden Intervene Makeup SPF 15
I bought Intervene makeup in Soft Sunbeige in Spain, which was a pretty close colormatch, but a wee bit not yellowtoned enough.

I tried it out yesterday. Its texture is good, like second skin. Coverage is medium. The foundation sets rather quickly, so there's little time to blend and you don't necessarily need to set with powder.

The thing with this foundation on my skin is, it started to look blotchy on the oily parts of my face, not color-wise blotchy, but texture-wise blotchy. And this is what has put me off. However, I do think this is a longlasting foundation, it didn't seperate on the oily parts of my skin.

SK II Air Touch Foundation
I bought this last year from eBay in the Asian market shade BE-2, which was too light for my skin. It really was a breeze to apply foundation with this device, because it's ionized foundation particles only adhere onto skin and not hair and clothes.

However, the foundation just wouldn't last a working day and was problematic for my combination skin (dry with oily T-zone). It would separate on the oily parts of my face and it would give a very tight, uncomfortable feeling on my dry cheeks. The latter was a big nuisance, so I had to buy a bottle of MAC Fix+ to get rid of the dry feeling. Anyway, this just didn't work for my skin. I tried using it as a finishing spray, but then this tight feeling this foundation gave me made me stop using it. Also, when I don't use it for a long time, the nozzle gets clogged with dried foundation. The device does have a button to unclog it, but I feel like it's such a waste of foundation and time.
