I love snow, but it has made me hate Melrose even more. Absolutely no streets in Melrose are plowed. So when I went out to drive Melissa and Melanie home it was disasterous. First, when we were on Main Street, we skidded really badly, missed hitting a No Parking sign by about three inches, and ramed into the curb. The rest of the was to Melanie's I drove about 5 miles an hour. Then, Melissa and I decided we should go home on Lebanon street because Main street was really bad and there were cars parked along it and we didn't want to skid into a car. So right after we turned onto Upham street, right after the lights, going up hill we started to skid. Again we skidded into the curb. But this time, since we were going uphil and there were cars coming and assholes beeping even though I had my emergency lights on, I could not get out of the skid. I didn't want to back up, because what if I slid backwards into something? So I had to call my dad to come save me. It was horrible. I loathe this place and everything about it.
Oh and did I mention not one person rolled down a window to see if we were alright?
