oh, the joys of the sunshine state.
well well, hurricane frances is moving along right on schedule. mom and i are leaving this afternoon for naples, where hopefully we'll miss the torrential downpour and tornado-causing winds. hopefully, my house and my maurice make it through unscathed. i guess i shall find that out in a few days when i get home.
this year is off to a beautiful start, i must say. i love having bi-weekly power outages and spending my saturday mornings cleaning trees out of the pool and rebuilding our fence. hell yes. and to those who are ignorant enough to find things like this fun because we get to miss a few days of school, laugh it up and just be glad you aren't one of the families who will have nothing to come home to.
