Smiles All Around
Today was a superb day. To begin with, the weather was beautiful, which always puts me in a good mood. I don't know why the weather has so much to do with my mood, but it certainly does, and I've come to the conclusion that Michigan is no place for me to be for that reason alone. Michigan is just so unpredictable when it comes to weather!! Don't we all know that one though...
Since the weather was in fact so incredibly awesome (as it's been this whole weekend), I thought it would be nice to get what could be my last good swim out of my pool for the year. So, Katie, Angie, Meg, and Jake came to join me. I had a good time- I never fail to when I'm with any of those people!
So after hours of tanning/swimming, it was time for practice. Now I really wasn't expecting much from myself since I haven't been able to actually dive in almost a week and a half, thus I went there with no expectations and a gratefulness that my back was barely hurting at all... ahh it was great! I worked through my dives, and all of them were right on- atleast as much as I could even hope they'd be. Tomorrow will be my first meet- vs. Grand Blanc- and I will be ecstatic if I feel even close to how I felt today.
Here's to tomorrow, and more days like this one. Life would be much easier if these feelings were a million in one, not one in a million.
