10.0 or 1.00??

It has just come to my attention that the Olympics don't start until next friday, which would mean that there are more than 4 days until opening ceremonies, making my last entry incorrect. So here, I'm correcting it!

This evening was pretty low key, yet it was still great. Another wonderful night at the Keaner casa! I was watchin the boob tube earlier and saw that tonight at 9 the E! True Hollywood Story: Gymnastics was going to be on, so of course I had to watch it! Being the awesome friend and fellow gymnast that she is, Nanc volunteer her humungo tv to watch it on. And joining us was none other than THE Monica. (Oh how I do love our girl nights!!) It was a pretty good show- definitely showed the things that aren't always brought to everyone's attention. I still thought it lacked something, though, seeing as it mainly focused on the great stars of the past-for the most part the '96 Olympic team. I guess my biggest problem with it was that it didn't show all of the training and preparation it takes to get to that point. Regardless, it was nice to see the sport on such a program. It's a rare and unique thing to see gymnastics on tv.

Wow. I've just realized that this is my second entry in a row about gymnastics. I'm just psyched for the Olympics!! We have a kick ass team this time... but I'll have to save that for another entry.

To change the pace of things a bit, I'll bitch (like I've been doing alllll night) about diving practice in the morning. It's from 5:30-6:45 a.m.- I'm sure I've mentioned this before. So, as of this point in time I have to get up in 5 hours. I better attempt to get some sleep...I've really been able to catch up on it and even over-indulge in it this summer... and I'm not going to be a happy girl when I get it ripped away from me!
