*So, with November creeping ever closer, and with my desire to actually start writing instead of just talking about it... I've decided to (mostly) kill my writing-based rambling in favor of a more reader-friendly daily update system. For now I shall just have a Word of the Day, Quote of the Day, and Word Count Update, but in the future I hope to add prompts if I'm so lucky as to have the time to do so.
Without further ado... onto the fun.
Word of the Day: epitome // e·pit·o·me // - noun - 1. a person or thing that is typical of or possesses to a high degree the features of a whole class: He is the epitome of goodness. 2. a condensed account, esp. of a literary work; abstract. (definition from dictionary.com)
Quote of the Day: "Perhaps it would be better not to be a writer, but if you must, then write. If all feels hopeless, if that famous 'inspiration' will not come, write. If you are a genius, you'll make your own rules, but if not - and the odds are against it - go to your desk not matter what your mood, face the icy challenge of the paper -- write." -J. B. Priestly
Word Count Update: 0/75,000. Woot! I'm really moving... >.>
