everything i do.
School is.. school. I'm doing well in most of my classes- minus physics. I honestly think that physics and I just are not meant to be friends. Especially since this class has absolutely NOTHING to do with my major- which makes it 100 times harder to want to learn. Oh well, I'll get through it- even if I scrape by with a C.
I made a nice connection yesterday at the Engineering Opportunity Day (career fair for eng. students.) There were only three companies out of 50 that I wanted to talk to- and, go figure, two of the three didn't even show. Buutttt, the one that did show- seemed pretty promising. Aside from the firm in Hawaii- this is the 2nd best company I've come across so far with civil and environmental engineering. They're global, too, which means there's always a possibility of actually being able to use my Spanish minor for something beneficial. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much- but the office manager I talked to seemed like he really wanted me in. Wish me luck, I guess ( :
Also, I'm going home this weekend to go see the Maroon 5 concert with Holly & Ashley. Yessss (: And, as an added bonus, I get to see my boyfriend and my family too (: I think it will be good to get out of Kalamazoo for a little while, especially since I don't know when I'm going to be able to go home next.
I guess that's all for now, I should go study a little bit before my Spanish quiz. Adios! ( :
