As an issue that's been addressed on several different occasions within the short time period that it's been brought up, I feel as though I have something to say about it. First, please go sign this petition:
Support Leader Jay Park.
This whole situation is catching me not only by surprise, but is also making me a little depressed. Coming from the point of view of a fan not living within Korea, this might not seem like a big deal. But for all of 2PM's Korean fans, this entire situation is ridiculously blown out of proportion, seeming a lot bigger than it really is.
Four years ago, Park Jaebeom was training under JYP and was not accustomed to the Korean way of living, and like he elaborated in his long (unnecessary) apology, he was homesick and didn't want to continue staying in Korea. Unfortunately, those comments are causing a lot of trouble for Jay now, making netizens feel like 2PM needs to be Jay-free in order for it to survive. I don't think that 2PM will be as it once was if it's missing its leader, despite the fact that it'd just get a new one. I don't feel like 2PM will be the same at all and I don't know if I'll enjoy it as much because his humour just isn't there.
I know that I probably shouldn't bring this problem up, and I didn't even say most of the things I wanted to say, but I'm really tired and just wanted to get something posted before I went to bed.
I just hope that 2PM stays together and doesn't suffer over something of the past, four years prior to today where Park Jaebeom looks ridiculously happy to be where he is right now--as part of 2PM.
