Sometimes I really hate technology. It's usually of the mobile phone variety, and today is no exception.
This morning I discovered my phone had evidently run out of battery and gone off, so I plugged it in to let it charge while I was at work. Come this evening and I turn it on and... nothing past the Nokia jingle.
Screen comes on, battery meter shows full, Nokia jingle... dead stop. Backlight times out and then the phone just powers off. And then just to compound it, it switches on and off on its own until I close it (clamshell phone).
Sigh. Gonna make it a tad difficult to inform the birthday girl of my arrival ¬_¬
